IIUM Charity Run for Orphans 2016
All praise is to Allah through whose Grace all
righteousness is completed. May mercy and Peace be upon the most virtuous of
all creatures, Rasulullah Muhammad al-Musthafa (SAW) and mercy also upon his
family, companions and followers until the day of Qiyamah.
Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah for giving us a chance
to run a charity event called IIUM Charity Run for Orphans 2016 successfully. This
is a collaboration programme invited by Students Representative Councils (SRC) in
conjunction with IIUM Youth Festival 2016. It is a kind of public event as the
participation opened for all students and non-students (public) inside and
outside of International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). There are some
public outsider runners that took place in the event as well.
IIUM Charity Run for Orphans is a second run event
organized by Stuff IIUM after Stuff Colour Run (Stuffrun 1.0) on 10th
October 2015. Alhamdulillah the committees make a lot of new improvement from
the deficiency happened during Stuff Colour Run. They learned how to encounter
most of the expected as well as unexpected problem that might happened
throughout the period of preparation until the last minutes of event day.
Not to forget, most of the committee members are
newbies in organizing run event under IIUM. Through this program, they learnt
on how to deal with the public and the customers in order to make sure this
event run successfully. Besides, they learnt to be professional in facilitating
a programme with a good team works. May all the objectives outlined
successfully implemented and the program is smoothly completed.
